Match on Main Program Application - Meridian Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA)
Business owners looking to expand or move into the Township’s downtown district are eligible for a matching grant of up to $25,000 for authorized expenses. Meridian Township’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is accepting applications to sponsor businesses for the Match on Main program offered through the Michigan Economic Development Department (MEDC).
Interested business owners must complete the application below to be considered. The DDA will review submissions for eligibility and forward accepted applications to the MEDC on behalf of the businesses. Successful applicants may receive up to $25,000 for their project. Applications will be accepted by the Meridian DDA until Friday, February 13, 2026.
Required Attachments:
Attach project cost estimates from a third-party that reflect the total private investment. Private investment includes any non-Match on Main funds that will be leveraged to implement the project within 6 months of the execution of a grant agreement. All costs associated with the proposed project should be reflected in the required third-party cost estimates.
Provide a minimum of 3 photos that represent the scope of the Match on Main request; include at least 1 exterior photo and 1 interior photo.
Provide a detailed business plan (required only for new businesses and optional for existing businesses).
